Krungthai Bank

I used to live in Pai. I created a bank account there ten years ago. I have now lived in Mae Sai for four years. Why does the bank here inform me that I must travel eight hours to Pai, if I want to transfer my bank account to Mae Sai??​

I have been trying for a month to activate Krungthai Next. It doesn't work on a tablet, so I needed to purchase a phone. The facial recognition refused to work, so I had to drive to the bank to get the app working. I arrived home and was able to make exactly one transaction before receiving an error message "there are three applications that might be able to access your data (they can not) please go to your bank so they can confirm who you are" At the bank the assistant read the error and I had to argue for half an hour, that I am NOT deleting necessary apps that I use every day. She then confirmed who I am and seemingly the app now works.
